I am a seasoned creative professional with diverse skills and life experiences that make me an extraordinary force. I am driven by passion for what I do and the people who do it with me.

I am a diligent organizer who is excited by creativity and knows how to produce marketing communications that speaks to audiences and serves a purpose. Juggling multiple projects like its second nature, I have a sixth sense when it comes to communicating brand messaging.

I have worn many hats including that of graphic designer, art director, marketing communications manager, production coordinator, teacher, and humanitarian worker. I have supported startups and established commercial entities and nonprofits. My experiences include branding and designing products, packaging, logos, collateral, publications, billboards, vehicle wraps, websites, social media assets, and much more. I have designed and marketed in domestic and global settings for clients from various industries including automotive, dinnerware, beauty, finance/banking, nonprofit, government, and education.

I have a heart for helping people. I spent four years in East Africa as a donor-supported humanitarian volunteer for World Relief and other organizations—teaching youth academics and adult business communications—while art directing and managing a studio for a local ad agency in Kigali, Rwanda. I fell in love and married a Burundian musician and consider East Africa my second home. My charismatic personality and eagerness to help people allows me to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and staff. I strive to inspire teamwork that exudes integrity and creativity while exceeding client expectations.

I love celebrating people, art, and music. When I’m not designing for work, I enjoy painting, taking photos, volunteering for causes, and making music (I play the guitar, sings, and compose songs). I also love to support and promote other artists. I have produced music and concerts as well as managed and promoted artists in America and East Africa.

I am driven by my passion for people, culture, and living a life of purpose. I strive to maintain a peaceful work/life balance and sustain joy and passion in everything I take on. I see myself as a translator of people’s dreams and visions. My goal is to make an impact for good in my work — create something “big,” build great teams, help someone, learn something, improve the world, and finish well.
